A$$ Thunder
Today Jake was giving the girls a bath while I was cleaning up the kitchen after dinner. I ran the garbage disposal and Sophie said "Dad, do you hear that? It's a$$ thunder!" Then she dove down into the water to hide herself. Jake thinks she was trying to say something before she thought of "thunder" but who knows. That is definitely not a phrase that circulates around our house and I don't think she would even know what an a$$ is. After they went to bed we got a really good laugh.

oh god...i don't think any of us said that word around her. not usually in our vocabulary, either. however, if she'd said d*#@ it! i'd be worried it came from us.
Obviously she got it from somewhere! Kind of like Brandie at her First (#1) Birthday party, when she dropped her bottle and said " Sh@#". It's all been downhill since then. I don't know where she got it from. Must of been from her Father's side of the familie, "sh@#" I meant family. Barb
If I recall correctly, she said "..it's THE a** thunder!" In reality she was probably saying "it's the -uhhh.. thunder!" (trying to remember the proper name).
Chris Fleischer strikes again! Next thing you know, she'll be burping her ABC's and asking you to "pull her finger".
