Several friends were going to be in town for the Fourth of July holiday, so we made plans for another mini-reunion like the one Michele organized around the holidays. Dana was up from Virginia, Michelle and Andy from Allentown, Katina and Mike from Mountain Top and Amy and her daughter Madee from Germany.
Thanks to George and Sue for providing the space to have such a nice get-together, and thanks to everyone for making the trip out despite all the road closings and other flood issues! It was great to see everyone and catch up, and fun to see all the kids playing together.
I think the funniest comment was made around 9pm by Trina, after all the kids had gone home or to bed and we were enjoying the sunset poolside with some beers from their trip to the Berkshires. David pulled into our driveway, covered in paint and spackle, Trina looked at Danny and remarked almost tearfully, "We weren't the last ones to arrive!"
